   О себе (About)

 

Nikolay Galushkin is a professor at Don State Technical University, Russia. He heads a research laboratory "Electrochemical and hydrogen energy". He received Dr. in Engineering in 1998. His research interests include: Firstly, the research and development of hydrogen storage systems. Secondly, the study of the processes of thermal runaway in alkaline, acid and lithium-ion batteries. Third, the modeling of processes in electrochemical batteries.

Родился в 1951 году в х. Верхние-Свичники Селивановского района Ростовской области. В 1958 г. поступил, а в 1968 году окончил с отличием среднюю школу села Волошина Миллировского района Ростовской области.

В 1973 г. окончил с отличием Ростовский государственный университет по специальности «Физика», квалификация - физик, теоретик.

C октября 1973 г. по ноябрь 1985 г. работал ассистентом кафедры «Математика, физика, химия» Шахтинского филиала Новочерасского политехнического института и ассистентом кафедры «Физика» Ставропольского политехнического института.

С 1985 г. по 1988 г. обучался в очной целевой аспирантуре при Новочеркасском политехническом институте.

В 1989 г. успешно защитил кандидатскую диссертацию по теме «Моделирование процессов распределения в пористом электроде при поляризации асимметричным переменным током»

С 1988 г. по 1992 г. работал инженером-программистом в различных подразделениях Новочеркасского политехнического института.

С августа 1992 г. по настоящее время работаю на кафедре «Радиоэлектронные и электротехнические системы и комплексы» сначала в должности старшего преподавателя, с 1993 г. в должности доцента, а с 1997 г. в должности профессора этой же кафедры.

В 1998 году успешно защитил докторскую диссертацию по теме «Моделирование работы щелочных аккумуляторов в стационарных и нестационарных режимах».
